On New Years Day my husband and life partner of twenty years fell into a coma and they said he had 12 hours to live. We didn't get to say goodbye.

Completely unexpected an anuerism we didn't know he had burst in his brain and I got him to hospital but all they would say was, "there's nothing that can be done and he will be dead in 12 hours.

 

We had two sons one with high functioning autism who goes to special school.

 

I am 44 and he was 48. I was with him nearly half my life.
