You have come to the right place.  Most of the conversations take place on "Loss of an Adult Child"

My son, Brian was 16 when he decided to car-surf (ride on the hood of a moving car).  The driver lost control of the vehicle going 68 miles an hour and hit a tree.  My son died at the scene and the driver is in jail and a felon.

Please join us on "Loss of an Adult" site.  As you can see, there are parents who have lost a child at 1 day through 45 years old.   A loss of a child is a loss of a child.

I as so very, very sorry for your loss...part of our hearts are gone forever, but we do help each other find some kind of life again...it will never be the same, but it will be...

the loss of an Adult Child site is under the same heading of Beyond Indigo...just look for the titles and you will see it...first click on Loss of A Child, and you will see Loss of An Adult Child...there are wonderful people there who are on the same journey, who comfort each other and provide someplace to vent, share or just listen.  It helps.  A lot.

love and peace,

Dear Tomsboysmom,

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son.  You are in the right place.

As has been suggested, please go to the "Loss of Adult Child" section on this Board and introduce yourself  you will find a number of loving, compassionate people who have also lost a child and will welcome you with the gentleness and kindness you so deserve.

I am praying for your peace.
