Members JCG
I'm 34 years old. In the past 13 years, I've lost my mom to a long, grueling battle to cancer (which started when I was 7 years old), my dad to a massive heart attack, and just 2 weeks ago my older sister to a short but difficult battle with cancer. I have my oldest sister only left, she's 11 years older than me. We have always been very close but the past few days, I find myself getting very angry and hurt by her over nothing... I know that I'm being petty and I don't want to be mad at her because she's all that I have left but I just can't help it. I guess I'm just wondering if this is normal and if anyone has any suggestions?
Members cindyjane
JCG I am so sorry for the loss of your parents and sister. You've been through an awful lot with these losses and my heart goes out to you. I don't really have any suggests about the situation with your sister but I do know that everyone handles grief differently. I am guessing that you are feeling over sensitive due to this most recent loss which would be very understandable.....and normal. I am glad to read that you don't want to be mad at your sister. Just keep that thought in mind and try to be patient with her because we don't know how she is coping with this most recent loss. Take care Cindy Jane
