My mom was my best friend and now I have no one to talk to who understands what I'm feeling.On top of that I wanted my moms birthday off and got laid off or fired, not sure. Members Phil47 Posted December 29, 2014 Members Report Share Posted December 29, 2014 So sorry for your loss. I lost my mum on 29th December after a 10 week battle in hospital with pancreaitis. On the 9th week she hadbeen moved in to rehab and we were hopefulof her coming home but she developed pnemonia and was taken back into hospital me and my Father stayed at her bedside from Christmas Eve until she passed away on the 29 th likeeveryone else I'm heartbroken and trying to keepStrong for my father.
