Members ROSIEPETE Posted October 14, 2014 Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 July 14 2014 my husband left for work at 10 to 6 am and at 630 am I received a phone call he was in a accident.A pickup truck hit them broadside on my husbands side.He was a passenger in the car.They had to use the jaws of life to get him out, but before that his aorta burst and he bleed to death! It is 3 months today and I am still in shock.We were married 50 years.He was 70 and I am 67.It just does not seem real and I keep thinking he is coming home.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go on? How I wish there were a book with step by step instructions on how to get over this but unfortunately there isn't. It is a day by day thing.
