Members misssantos
hello-i lost my mother very suddenly just about 7 months ago. i am having a hard time coming to terms with the fragility and uncertainty that i now know is life. i guess i just wondered if other people in similar situations to mine are riddled with fear and obsessive thoughts of death. or if anyone has had any luck moving beyond these at times all consuming fears.thank you-
Members cindyjane
I am so sorry for your loss. In less than a year I lost both of my parents. This has got to be the toughest thing I've ever been through. I am still am going through a lot of different emotions over this and find that what gets me through it is my faith. I just know that they are in a better place and rejuvenated back to perfect health. I also believe that one day we will be reunited when it is my turn to go "home." Until then I will try to get on with life and be the best person that I can be. I know that is what they would both want. I always believed in God but losing my parents strengthened my faith. I am no bible thumper but I am compelled to share the only thing that brings me peace and comfort over this is my faith. I still have a long way to go in the faith department but it strengthens every time I pray and turn over the difficult things to Him. I hope this helps. Hang in there and ask Him for comfort....He listens. Cindy Jane
