Can't find an old post - comparing losing parent to being an amputee

When I first starting using this forum I read a post that compared losing a parent to losing a limb/being an amputee. It was really nicely written and I wanted to show it to a friend to help explain what I'm going through. 

 

I've looked through all the ones I've read and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know which post it is or who wrote it?
