I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter coming up on four years ago, and find that many times I'm still at a loss for what to say to someone who has recently lost a child other than "I'm sorry" and "I understand". Please just know that there are others here that understand the devastation and pain you now find yourself in and are here to listen and offer support. Sudden, unexpected losses (as was the case with my daughter too) seem to bring another layer of grief because we didn't get to say goodbye, much less prepare for it. For now, I would say cry as much as you feel you need to and keep reaching out for support. Whether you feel like it or not, you will get through this...one breath and one moment at a time. Wishing you peace. Maria
