To stay or go???

For those still pondering the issue of moving...... I was watching My Lottery Dream Home this morning. The couple on the house search had lost their young daughter in an accident. David made what I thought was a very poignant comment about their current home.

"The house that had everything in it and nothing at all."

My only thought/suggestion is don't go early on because it could be a knee jerk reaction that later is regretted and you can't un-do it, but if you stay, you can still move later.

We were actually planning to move into an apartment -  no stairs, much less maintenance.  I was looking forward to it.  But now, I don't want to move.  All the memories are here, and I just can't bear leaving it all behind at this time.  Letting go, inch by inch, day by day, until I'm ready.  Meanwhile, I have to deal with the lawn and garden.  Ugh.

I had to let go of George's garden, I tried keeping his cherry tomatoes alive that first summer, nope!  I do NOT have a green thumb.  So that empty plot of land is a tribute to his gardening...
