Members Popular Post Adriennelc Posted April 22 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 22 Last week was not great for me. Grief caught me off guard and I ended up in a heap crying big ugly tears. I was shouting and screaming at Ken and told him he better give me a sign he was happy. Went to bed slightly less unhinged and was dreaming away (can't remember what about) when all of a sudden Ken was coming through the door in his favourite shirt, tanned and very very happy. He held up two plates, one blue and one brown. Very ornate decorative ones. He also had one of his mates with him but I didn't get to see who it was. And at that he was gone. Probably 10 seconds in all. Not sure what to think but it has made me more settled 3 2
Members Popular Post JonathanFive Posted April 22 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 22 I'm dreaming of my partner quite a bit. How does the human brain give them back to us while we sleep? Why? Is it real or just a dream? 5 1

Members Popular Post HisMunchkin Posted April 22 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 22 I must say, I have not had many dreams of my husband. I don't think I've had many dreams at all that I can remember. Would be nice to see him happy in a dream. 6
Members Popular Post JoeSzy Posted April 23 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 23 I have had one vivid dream of my girlfriend since I lost her 2 years ago. She said something like I'm trying to find a way to talk to you and that was it. In a way I feel better and in a way worse. 3 3
Members Popular Post Rey Dominguez Jr Posted April 23 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 23 I saw Veronica in a dream a couple of months back. I saw the Veronica from the 80’s when she met me in Japan. We were shopping and she had both legs and was smiling, and had a kind of floppy hat on. It was beautiful. In April of 2004 she lost het left leg below the knee due to complications of diabetes. 6 3

Members Popular Post DWS Posted April 25 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 25 I've had two vivid dreams that I will never forget. I mentioned these in another dream thread but the first one was a couple of months after Tom was gone. There we were both of us side by side at the bathroom sink innocently brushing our teeth getting ready for bed. It was such a normal everyday-ness thing to pop up in a dream with no disturbance or turmoil around it. I woke up feeling like I'd been with him and was reminded of our quiet life together. The other dream is remarkable. It was of Tom and my dear, close friend Lori playing pool together in my parent's basement. It's been now over 15 years since Lori passed away. Tom came along in my life nine years later so he didn't know her but certainly heard a lot about her from me....and there they were in my dream laughing and clowning around as they played pool. The significance overwhelms me at times. 3 4

Members Popular Post Boggled Posted April 26 Members Popular Post Report Posted April 26 Waking up one morning, I heard my husband's voice, just saying my name. And he sounded just like himself, and he sounded like he was GOOD, just fine. I'm not one who remembers dreams, not for many years. 6
Members Marie1 Posted May 10 Members Report Posted May 10 I have had dreams of my husband mostly good ones and 2 anxious ones. I feel good when he is in my dreams, I feel like I get a quick visit, except for the anxious ones. It has been 13 months. 4
Members Popular Post Marie1 Posted May 10 Members Popular Post Report Posted May 10 It has been hard lately. My husband helped me to relax and get refreshed while relaxing at night and in his presence. I am still working and I miss my rest with him. Life seems monotonous in some ways and constant battling responsibilities and life' s fires. I miss the rest that came in being together. 1 4

This is such a hard journey - one day you think you have everything under control and the next you can hardly put one foot in front of the other. xx 3

I know he would not want me sad, but I miss him so - so hard... 3
