This video came up in my feed and is definitely the best I've seen so far in describing grief and the hope of gaining any solace. Kudos to the host...Michelle Thaller who is an astronomer...for posting it. 6 1

The host, first of all, has such a down-to-earth vibe speaking from her heart as one who has and still going through a grief journey after her husband died. She's not a therapist or expert on the topic...just a person who entered the grief world lost and bewildered like the rest of us. It's also not too somber....sort of a matter-of-fact re-telling of what she's been through and the insight gained. I think it's worth watching. I love the part where she goes into the complexities of time...how the past, present and future are one of the same. 4 2

Yes...that part is something to really think about. That moment of holding their hand is as real as the present. It boggles my mind in trying to understand that. The other part of her video that wrecked me was towards the end when she had a genuine smile during their examination of the asteroid. Her passion for space exploration won out over her grief at that moment! 3
