Lost my dog and now I feel nothing but anger

To start, I want to say that this isn’t the first time that this happened. As in 2020 we had to put down my shih tzu. But still I will never be able to endure it. I have a 9 year old dachshund that was put down earlier today and it’s still hard to think this happened. I’m just upset. I’m furious at God. I know it’s not entirely his fault. But I’m still furious that he casually lets this stuff happen. I feel embarrassed as I’m probably just being over dramatic about it, but it feels so hard to carry on with life knowing that you have to deal with this again. I also have a 14 year old dog and this made me dread the day he passes even more. No matter how hard I try I can’t get my mind out of it.

I am so sorry for your loss.  loss of dog is one of the hardest losses, imo, esp. if you live alone and they are your life.  My heart goes out to you.
