Members intothemystic Posted January 29 Members Report Share Posted January 29 Last night I dreamt that most horrible dream about my son. Today has been a full day of anxiety, sadness and guilt. My dream was so awful. I feel like a terrible mother for the dream I had. In a nutshell, my son was being mean to me in my dream, and I grabbed him by the face and yelled at him saying " You're dead - why are you being so mean to me?" I also grabbed him by the face saying those words. I woke up feeling so terrible. Is this type of dream normal? Am I losing my mind? I do feel like I'm losing my mind! Moderators widower2 Posted January 29 Moderators Report Share Posted January 29 I'm so sorry for your loss. I suspect such dreams are more common than we realize. It's happened to me with my loss. It doesn't make any sense, but then I never felt dreams were necessarily supposed to make sense or had some "hidden meaning"....they're just dreams, not reality. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
