Members Lacey
I lost my dad in October, and he was my favorite person on Earth. Cancer took him from us. Lately, I keep wondering where did he go when he died. I want to say he went to heaven, but the uncertainty is painful. I just want to know where his spirit is to feel at ease. Does anyone else have this thought about their loved one?

Moderators KayC Posted December 9, 2023 Moderators Report Share Posted December 9, 2023 I guess it's part of life as we get older, I lost my 3 year old nephew when I was 14, my baby niece before her 2nd birthday (born w/o a brain), my dad when I was 29, my husband when he was barely 51, and the hits have kept on coming since. Countless dogs and cats, friends... One doesn't prepare you for another loss though. Each one has pain and more adjustments. I'm just so sorry anyone else has to endure this. I wish you well on your journey and hope you will continue to come here and post, it helps. Parent Loss: Continuing Their Song
