I grew up in foster care being thrown from him to home so often that more often than not I didn’t even bother unpacking my stuff. The hardest part was having people meet at the children services office for adoption visits. They would always leave with this look in their eye and I’d never see them again. It always made me feel unworthy and I started feeling like I’d never find my forever home. I doubt I ever will at this point. I just want to know what I did wrong.
