Trigger Warning: Parent Death; How can i deal with Father's Day?

My dad passed in 2017,and Father's Day is agony for me. is there anything i can do to get through this holiday intact?

Father's day, Christmas, their birthdays... So many occasions that were once happy, are so hard now. 

Believe me, I understand. And I'm so sorry about your Dad 

I will light a little candle by a photo of my dad today, write in my journal to him and tell him how much I love him.

I’m facing the same thing. It hurts seeing others celebrate their dads when you can’t do the same. It hurts that he isn’t here to be celebrated anymore. I don’t know if you’re religious but I find that praying for him helps from time to time. Also possibly visit his grave with some flowers. You got this.
