Members Popular Post Brazil Man
Today it's been 5 years since I lost my beloved wife. Grief is not so raw at this moment, but I will always grieve and remember her, I quoted the song below to show my feelings. If you don't get depressed with sad songs you can listen to it, because its all I have now: sweet memories. (If sad songs causes you to get depressed, please don't listen to it.) 2

Members foreverhis
@Brazil Man It will be 5 years for me this July as well. It’s so strange how time warps and shifts. Some days it feels as if I lost John yesterday and other times, more often now I guess, it seems like forever ago. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and heart today, as always.

Now after 5 years it's a bit easier. I don't tell I am happy, in fact I am still sad. I just got used to the grief and accept my reality. Thank you for your concerns. Hugs, Moises. 4
Members Popular Post tlc
Hi Brazil Man. We were here at the same time five years ago sharing our pain. I too, have learned to live with that pain. It hasn't gone its just that I have absorbed it into my being and live with it. Am I happy about that? No! But, I can and have to do it for now. That's just the way it has to be for me, for now. I survive my life being sure of this. One, we will be together shortly and we will be reunited. Wow, Yes, I hope so!! Two, the lights will go out and the pain will be gone. Win win eh!!

Members tlc
Yes his name is Terry. Thank you for remembering that. If I remember right, your wife is Rosa. I do hope that you are hanging in there Moises and please try and find some joy each day in some small thing. I mostly find it in my garden and nature and my old cat Lily. Two "old" ladies together at the end! 3

Thank you for remembering, as it is a Brazilian name it's more dificult to keep in mind, and common for English speakers to confuse with Rosa. I am living with my parents nowadays but I am sad because they are already in advanced age. I am 57, my father is 81 and my mother is 74. But I thank God that I still have them and we can spend our time together. Hugs, Moises

I know that he is in spirit with me and I look forward to be reunited with him when it’s my time to die.
