Does anybody have any familiarity with putting an urn of ashes on your parents? Both of them are deceased property and then selling the property?  This just feels really weird to me.

I got an urn with ashes for my dad. My mom wanted hers scattered so I don't have an urn for her. The funeral home took care of putting the ashes in for me, I just had the urn sent to them.

I will have to deal with selling their property soon. I am dreading that most of all since they'd just remodeled it. If you are in the US, a probate attorney can guide you on how to do this legally, especially if they did not leave behind a will or there's more beneficiaries than just yourself.

It felt strange at first, but we decided to scatter their ashes in a place they loved and then sell the property. It made the process more meaningful. Now we are considering spending the money, and our close relatives advised us to check out Address Zabeel by Emaar. I think if we invest wisely, it will mean we respect my grandparents in a way.   It's a personal choice, so do what feels right for you. Sending support!
