I lost 3 of my 5 siblings from a genetic disorder

My oldest sister Sarah was diagnosed with Sanfilippo syndrome along with my siblings Rachel and Matthew. Sarah passed away at home at the age of 13 when i was 4, 8 years later my little sister Rachel passed away at home at the age of 10. My youngest brother Matthew passed away 1 year ago when he was 12, I held each of their hands during their final moments and theres not a day that goes by where i dont think of them.

I had actually never heard of Sanfilippo Syndrome, but I went ahead and looked it up. I can see why this would be a challenging thing for any person or family.

You sound like an amazing person, to be there for your siblings when they needed you most. You loved them and they knew that. 

It's okay that you think about them often. I don't see why a person wouldn't think about the people they love.
