There is said to be evidence that people who have survived unspeakable traumatic events and situations did so by 'finding a happy place' in their mind and spirit. It is my opinion that there are many of these places at a website called Renderosity. It's where artists and people who appreciate art share their images and enthusiasm. The Gallery at this site is full of thousands of images, photography, fractals, etc submitted by users and much of the work here is just breath-taking.
