Members Carola
Hi, my dad recently passed away suddenly during his sleep. My dad was everything good you can imagine. Always so helpful and kind, funny and playful, caring and supportive. He was the BEST grandpa to my children. His death was so unexpected that we are all in a state of shock and disbelief. My dad and mom were together for 47 years, she is so devastated. I don't know how to help her while also grieving with my pain. I was very close with my dad, we talked about everything. Please tell me this will get better and what can I do to help my mom and children through this pain.
Members janetan
Carola, I am so sorry to learnt of your loss. Trust me. What you and your family are going through are very real. You will get better, just take one day at a time. Emotions will come and go. Every single item of your dad will bring your tears rolling down. I lost my mother since OCt 2021. Every now and then I will cry. I just let myself cry until I stopped. Of course you have to take care of your health. crying is part of recovery for me. Don’t rush your emotions. Let them flow. you will get better eventually.
