Members AmandaTanner Posted August 24, 2021 Members Report Share Posted August 24, 2021 My heart if broken after 5 weeks in the ICU I lost my precious Mama. Tomorrow the planning begins for her funeral and I pray I can be strong enough to get though it all. I feel so lonely and lost without her and life as I know it will never be the same again. I was her caretaker for the last year and have always lived with my Mom all my life even when I married. Both my husband and I are having a really hard time with all of this and our home just doesn’t seem the same and is so lonely without her. I don’t know how this will ever get better. Members Beatrixszabo Posted September 9, 2021 Members Report Share Posted September 9, 2021 I'm so sorry Amanda. I lost my mom 3 months ago. It still doesn't feel real. We have had no funeral yet. She is at home. I couldn't say goodbye, all happened unexpectedly although she was ill. I can't say any good for you I'm sorry about that, because I'm still struggling too. I can't believe that it's happened, I can't believe that she doesn't exist anymore. Life is just not fair. Hate to wake up, and every day is a challenge.
