It hurts deep inside when you r about to lose your mom

My mom has had a severe brain stroke in the last two day and the stroke happened in her brain stem. Next three days are critical. My sister is thinking about the worst because she has seen her slip away into coma in her arms. I am too scared. What if my sister also leaves me later? How does on cope with uncertainty. I am trying to think about present moment but my brain is fighting the thoughts. Help
