My husband also died of ALS, which is a horrible disease and gut wrenching to watch someone go through. I have two kids (although school aged, so a bit older) and so much of what she said resonated with me and sent me into tears, which I often find helps me release my emotions and find some calm amidst all the turmoil of grief. It has been a tough week for me emotionally so it was very much needed for me to hear from someone who has been through a similar experience and not only survived but become stronger as a result.
