Uncertainty

In a life where nothing is promised or certain, how do you learn to trust anyone or anything again?   I am often too trusting and too naive for my own good.   I am honest to a fault.  I believe in the good in people.  I believe they will tell me the truth.   So when they don’t I am left with a level of uncertainty that I don’t know how to process or overcome.   The truth is a precious thing and when one twists it...........it hurts so badly.   Forgiving is a process.......now where to start?

Broken hearted feeling like nothing is real anymore, never to trust or give my heart to anyone again.I feel like trusting in a vulnerable state is risky. Hope all is well..

That remains to be seen.  It is hard to know who to trust and how much to trust them that is for sure.  My heart and head doubt nearly everything at the moment.  I think that is what is most disappointing is that someone has made me question both.   I have always been so sure of everything until now.  Apparently my intuition and gut instincts are out of whack.
