I lost my dad suddenly to an awful battle with lung cancer. He was diagnosed a week before my boyfriend died in his car accident. We could not believe how quickly we lost him... and that when people say "cancer sucks," they mean.... it freakin' sucks.
My father was a Pittsburgh icon - an extremely well known DJ and local Pittsburgh TV host, having created "Music for Young Lovers."
