Members Blackrock
I felt sad, angry, guilt and regrets for things I didn't do. Christmas without my dad is so unreal. I wish he's here with us. I don't know why this happened to my dad- a nice gentle loving dad husband and grandfather. I lost my dad to sudden heart failure and it could be prevented. if we take him to ER earlier! He was coughing and went to see the doctor on Monday. Doc gave him stupid meds and send him home. We took him to ER in the middle of the night the next day (tues) and he recovered and was well. Next 6 hours his heart failed and he was on the vent / fighting til last minute on Thursday. I don't know how to believe that he's gone. how do u deal with guilts and grieve at the same time!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Members ModKonnie
Blackrock,I am very sorry about the loss of your dad, and in such a sudden way, too. You did everything you could do to help him. There is no reason you should feel guilty (although that's so much easier said than done). Truly, how could you or anyone have known? Please be kind to yourself, and just cry and do what you need to do to grieve. We will be here for you.ModKonnie
