Members Austykatie
I just posted this to Jim's Facebook Memorial page and I thought I would share it here too... Well its that time to post as another "milestone" has come and gone..7 months has gone by and I just cannot believe it! Time doesn't always heal, you have to do that at your own pace.Things I have learned in the past 7 months:~To be strong and never give up~Tomorrow is a new day~Grieving is self-paced~Fight for what you believe in~Change doesn't always have to be painful~Be careful who ...you trust~You can't move forward if your anchored to the past~Sometimes things are out of your control~Sleep isn't always easy but much needed~Exercising can help take away the pain~People come and go in your life~Its okay to smile & laughFinally, I believe there is a reason for everything in life that happens. I may not have all answers to the reasons, but acceptance is key.I would like to share something from a very wise person that sent this to me today!"Keep your face always Toward sunshine and Shadows will fall behind you" Walt Whitman.. Love you little sister...xoxoxo

Members LizzyW
Wow all those statements hit me, especially "you can't move forward if your anchored to the past" So so true. I went to have dinner with a group of friends last night, and they were all friends of Mike's as well. We laughed and had a great time. I also stepped outside for a few minutes to cry, but overall, the laughter and smiles far outnumbered the tears.
