Members ForeverRemembered
No way are you crazy! I think it is a wonderful idea. However, may I suggest that you just print out a photo of what you found for your father and then write a little note to your father and attach the photo to the note? Then, you can put the letter by his grave site underneath flowers? Or, if it is something that is really small...like a coin that you can just bury along side his grave. Remember, there is no time limit that grieving would just stop and we all grieve in different ways. Hugs to you! I am sure your dad already knows about this special gift that you found for him. He knows and he most likely loved it!Take Care!

Members nopeace
I do not think you are crazy at all. However you get through a tramatic situation is what matters. Others should be there for support and NOT criticism!!!
Members Daffodilfun
I think it is a wonderful idea. What a beautiful way to honor your father. I must caution you as to burying something in the cemetary. It would be a definante no, no here. Check with the cemetary administration first. I small hole would probably be alright, and you can do it without asking permission, but a two foot hole should be checked.Again I love your idea. What a special person you are.
