First Family vacation without him

Just this past week, our kids and I went to visit my sister in Colorado. We had a good time, but I couldn't help thinking that it would have been better if he was with us. We celebrated our daughter's 15th birthday while horseback riding in the mountains. I had to laugh/cry because I could hear him saying things like: "Whoa! Horse!" "I am a city boy!" or "How do I make it stop!" The kids and I talked about how daddy would have liked the trip... Even though we loved visiting, we all couldn't wait to get home... We miss him so much.
