Members Brazil Man Posted November 29 Members Report Posted November 29 What happend to your beloved one's corpse ? Cremation or burial ? MY wife was buried. I wonder which is more truamatic 3
Moderators KayC Posted November 29 Moderators Report Posted November 29 I had George cremated. I didn't want to part with his ashes. Two years later it struck me, the place he was most comfortable in the whole world was home so that's where I scattered his ashes and I got him a nice memorial stone and set it there. 3
Members Sparky1 Posted November 29 Members Report Posted November 29 My wife is in a crypt in a mausoleum. My spot is there with her too. Thankfully we acquired the places years before she passed away, it's what she wanted and I also wanted. 2
Members Victoria C S Posted November 29 Members Report Posted November 29 I couldnt let him get cremated because of the process so he was buried next to our brother in law in the cemetery, sometimes that makes me question if I made the right choice also but I dont think either makes it easier. Im glad I have a place to go visit although cremation wouldve given me his ashes to have. 3
Members Dennis W Posted November 29 Members Report Posted November 29 My wife was cremated and I have the urn in a prominent place in the house. I also don't think I could part with her remains yet if ever. My ultimate plan is to have us interred in a companion urn at a nearby mausoleum. I'm setting it all up in advance so the kids won't have to worry about what to do. 3
