I had George cremated. I didn't want to part with his ashes. Two years later it struck me, the place he was most comfortable in the whole world was home so that's where I scattered his ashes and I got him a nice memorial stone and set it there.

My wife is in a crypt in a mausoleum. My spot is there with her too. Thankfully we acquired the places years before she passed away, it's what she wanted and I also wanted.

I couldnt let him get cremated because of the process so he was buried next to our brother in law in the cemetery, sometimes that makes me question if I made the right choice also but I dont think either makes it easier. Im glad I have a place to go visit although cremation wouldve given me his ashes to have.

My wife was cremated and I have the urn in a prominent place in the house. I also don't think I could part with her remains yet if ever. My ultimate plan is to have us interred in a companion urn at a nearby mausoleum. I'm setting it all up in advance so the kids won't have to worry about what to do.

She was cremated as she wanted. I don't have her ashes because her POS daughters do.
