Members mahjehan Posted October 2 Members Report Posted October 2 i lost my baby, my little munchkin he was the best cat i had ever had, always purring and cuddling, i would usually let him out everyday in the morning and he would come back in the afternoon, to eat and take a nap and than would want to go out again till sunset, i would always leave the garage door a little open for him to come back in even if we were not there, but this one Sunday afternoon, we didn't leave the garage door open for whatever reason idk what was going through my mind, but when we returned home at 6:30pm in the evening the sun was just dipping and it was still daylight, but my baby did not come home, I waited for him all night and called his name, but this was the first night he didn't come home, he always always come home and doesn't leave the vicinity he does not go far at all, usually right in the backyard, but i live in a wooded area, and it slipped my mind that maybe a coyote has eaten him, idk what to think honestly i have been staying up every night for the past few days with the outdoor light on and calling his name, and he never goes anywhere else but the neighbors yard, does not go far, but i have a very bad feeling and maybe coyote has got him, because it is not like him to not come home or run away he is so loved in our household, i wish and pray he comes home, I miss him SOOO much and i dream about his return, maybe hopefully he will turn up right at my door and come home, my baby come home i miss you SOOO much, God please bring my baby home, he is just about a year old, orange tabby cat very friendly, love you soo much and will always miss you my baby. 1
Moderators KayC Posted October 2 Moderators Report Posted October 2 My Miss Mocha disappeared 6/3/2016, I was outside all day and last saw her at the edge of the woods. I believe a cougar got her as I later learned one was on our road and got a neighbor's cat. Put up flyers with his picture on it, talk to neighbors, have them check their garages, sheds. I am so sorry, this is very hard to go through. I consoled myself with the fact the cougar would have grabbed her unknowingly from behind and she would have gone into shock, which would have protected her from what was coming. she loved it here and never left the property. I still miss her. My hope is he comes back! 🙏

Members mahjehan Posted October 2 Author Members Report Posted October 2 i have to make sure i am a psycho and i am going into the woods today to find some clue or trace or collar of my little buddy we have woods in our backyard, but i live in town in a city in the suburbs, but people say they have seen coyote in the areas and my little buddy is not street smart or aggressive. i need some proof something to make me understand, i heard when coyote eat a cat they only eat the guts inside and leave the body parts. 1
Moderators KayC Posted October 2 Moderators Report Posted October 2 I have woods in my backyard but never found anything, but it could have taken across the creek or traveled a ways before... Good luck to you.
