My big brother

Was informed this morning that my lion hearted brother is dying.

i want to shout about his kindness, bravery, resilience, supportive, caring , understanding , forgiving , funny, serious, intelligent, , skilful, artful, calm, industrious, charitable.

my brother took a kind ,  calm approach to life, always stopping on his way to listen, take action, be helpful and remain approachable.

i did want to wait until I had to use the words "was" 

He is here today, he is my brother . I could not be any more proud of you or thankful for you always being here for me

I am so sorry for your loss, a person I am close to lost her dad just five minutes ago, it is 19 years today since my sweet husband died.  The older we get it seems we are hit with more loss.  My heart goes out to you.

I lost my closest (older) sister two years ago, I was her caregiver, it was the hardest thing...wanting to tell her things but she's not there.  I talk aloud to her anyway.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful brother, he's left a legacy that will never be forgotten.
