Why do wills turn some people into rampaging (insert nasty word here)

I've  seen/heard about it with others, but now living it...my sister is in charge of my parent's estate after my mom passed and she's turning into a little Hitler...it's her way or no way in every detail, and if anyone dares question anything, no matter how tactfully, she pitches a fit. I'm trying to tread lightly for now, but it may get to a point where I may decide to challenge her, legally if necessary. And when this is over, wow I'm going to rip her a new one. I'm frankly not sure I will even consider her my sister anymore. Hope nobody else has dealt with this kind of BS.
