I’m supporting my boyfriend who is grieving

To be honest, I need someone to talk to. I have a boyfriend that lives in a city about an hour and 40 minutes away. We used to video chat every day, but since his cousin died, he’s been very distant. He is grieving the loss of six people in the last 12 months, so he’s really besides himself with grief. He does text me but not very much. I’m trying to be supportive and understanding. I do think he’s worth waiting for but I’m wondering how long it’s gonna be before he wants to spend time with me again. My sister says it’s weird because you would think he would want to be around somebody he cares about, but we all know that everyone grieves differently.
