Members Lindsey Hobart
Hi everyone, I hope it's okay I'm posting here. I am posting this on behalf of a woman I have been working with who has desperately tried to get in touch with someone else who has lost a brother or sibling to suicide. She's 62 and lives alone and is the last remaining family member after losing her brotherin December 2019. Since the loss, she has desperately tried to connect with support and bereavement groups, but without having access to internet or a computer and no transportation, she has not been able to join any local or virtual support groups and feels hopeless and alone. I am asking if anyone here would be willing to talk to her about their grief and what it has been like to normalize her experience, especially if they have lost a brother. She is a wonderful woman to talk with and would be incredibly appreciative of anyone's time and would be more than willing to lend an ear as well. If this sounds like something you are interested in, please email me at Lindsey.hobart@gmail.com and I will provide her contact information. If you also have any other resources that might be helpful to her, please, please, please reach out. We are really desperate here.
