In my own life, going back further, to about 2003, people whom I've known and loved have also died at regular intervals that I probably could map out in a similar linear way. For my own, before around 2003, was not quite so regular, but started at the beginning of 1974. I do agree with you, though: Who knows when (or who) will die next, of people whom I know and love?
