Members Riannon Posted October 6, 2022 Members Report Share Posted October 6, 2022 My dad passed away 4 weeks ago and little things have been triggering me lately. I miss my dad so much and it’s hard for me because right usually just push stuff like this down and I can’t. It hurts, I’m at my girlfriends house on the back porch gasping for air because it hurts so much, I really miss my dad and nobody knows how much I’m hurting becuase I walk around acting like I’m okay and fine but not too long ago I call suicide prevention because I couldn’t handle it and now I can’t stop feeling what I’ve been holding back since my dad passed. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Please know it's normal to feel triggered and deeply hurt and sad about what happened. I want so much for you to feel supported during this difficult time. I hope you will connect with some resources in the community or through church. Finding a grief counsellor or grief support group might help. I also found these websites very helpful.
