I had no idea the grieving process would hit me so hard....sadness, emptiness, seeing loss in everything, anger, resentment (he was a great man and I loved him very much - BUT he also caused so much hurt and rejection in my life). I've been told that I'd benefit by participating in a support group with others - particularly those who've also lost a parent....so, with a bit of trepidation, here I am...

I am very sorry for your loss. Grief does bring out a lot of different emotions and this is completely normal. There is no right way or wrong way to grieve.
