A daughter who had open heart surgery last year at age 25, and me, a drug addict who lost both his brothers and more, also. I’m trying to find other mothers with similar stories to talk with my mom about y’all’s shared trauma. Together, where y’all don’t have to have momma strength and can just let it all go on one another. Please, she’s hurting so bad. I don’t know how she’s still going, but she is.
