I think my mind was trying to protect me because even though I knew I loved my brother and should be sad, I couldn’t quite feel it fully. Allow yourself to process those feelings because they will come out sooner or later. I’m here for you if you want to talk. It gets easier. You never forget them, but you learn how to move forward.
