Losing a son from suicide

On April 23 2021 my beautiful, smart son shot himself. He was 25 and a blessing every day to me and everyone around him. My heart is broken into a thousand pieces. I thought if I got through a year it would heal a bit but it hasn’t.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know there is no right way or wrong way to grieve. My counsellor told me that grief has not fixed timeline. I hope you can find someone to talk to in the community or through church. Sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
