Members Popular Post tnd
Today is my husband's birthday. He would've been 64. In his honor, I thought I'd start this thread. Please feel welcomed to post your own greetings here to honor your special someone. Happy Birthday, Honey! I miss you but hope you are enjoying this day. I'm sorry, but I didn't get a cake for two or the ginger ale and I don't have the pink plastic champaign glasses. But I do still have the memories we made together and for each other and your love will always be with me. I still have sight of your smile and that look you'd get on your face and I hear your laughter in my head now. I have our wedding rings, too. And I have a peace of mind knowing you are in a much better place...the place I hope where our love will lead me to your side. Until then, I know you are on my side, cheering me on. Well, it's your birthday so enjoy it for me, will you? Until we meet again....I love you. 4
Moderators KayC Posted June 4, 2022 Moderators Report Share Posted June 4, 2022 My George's birthday is on the 14th, my dad's on the 10th, my hopefully soon-to-be ex SIL the 6th (maybe the final papers will file on that day!)...to me, all sad memories of what we miss... I know your husband is having a happy birthday where he is, I just wish you could be with him celebrating, but you will someday. 1
Members Diane R. E.
Thank you tnd; what a lovely tribute to your husband. Given everything you have and are going through, it speaks volumes about the love and generosity that you possess. My husband passed away at the age of 64 and had quite similar health problems as your husband, so yes, they are in a much better place and no longer in pain. Thank you for posting this!
