Members emm3
In August 2021 my moms heart randomly stopped while driving once the car stopped people rushed to help and she was give cpr and taken to hospital however she has been in a vegetative state since... I have no idea how this can happen she spent all her life doing everything she could for people around her.. this year 2022.. we were moving and I told her she didn't need to work anymore, she was going to move near us and only take care of her grand daughter.. she is not Even 2 years old and needs her grandma .. she's in the hospital now and I go to visit but there is nothing I can do for her.. is there any advice on what I can do.. should do.. what do we do now.. it's now 9 months later and there is not much change I feel like none of this makes sense because she did not deserve this to happen to her she deserved to spend quality time with her grand daughter and her grand daughter with her.. I try to keep busy to .. I guess not deal with the situation at hand.. but it only lasts for so long.. I sit alone at end of night and think about this...
Members Ksbe
I'm so sorry.. Night is hardest for me too. I replay things in my head.. Cry.. Sometimes get angry. It sounds like you have had such a difficult time. My mom passed away in January... She was being kept alive by machines and Dr's told me there was nothing else they could do. I had talked w my mom about situations like this.. So I knew very clearly she didn't want to stay on machines for long. My mom will never get to meet her grandchildren and it kills me. She would have been such a fantastic grandma. Have the Dr's talked w you about her chances of recovery?
