My 6 month old son died

My heart is broken completely. Our beautiful boy died 12th November aged 6 months old. He was failed by the medical team: this caused his death. I don't know how I'm meant to go on without him. He was such a happy soul and I miss him more and more each day.

Dear Hse,

I'm so sorry for the lost of your son. A baby that was the center of a mother’s boundless love is suddenly the focus of her boundless grief. The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) The Bible urges us: “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you.” (Psalm 55:22) If talking out your feelings with a sympathetic friend can help, how much more will pouring out your heart to “the God of all comfort” help you!—2 Corinthians 1:3. It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The “Hearer of prayer” promises to give holy spirit to his servants who sincerely ask for it. (Psalm 65:2; Luke 11:13) And God’s holy spirit, or active force, can equip you with “power beyond what is normal” to go from one day to the next. (2 Corinthians 4:7) May the God of comfort take hold of your hand and walk beside you during this difficult time.

I'm sorry for your loss. I too, lost my 7 month old baby boy due to umbilical cord accident last Dec. 20, 2021. He is our firstborn,... our life and source of joy. I still don't know how to move forward in life without him. Our sweet and charming baby Bryce. I will miss forever as long as I live.
