Members Rashell Posted January 10, 2021 Members Report Posted January 10, 2021 After the dream I had about him last night, I really wanna go talk to a medium but I’m worried that it might be too soon or it might scare me a little? I’m gonna talk to my grief counselor about it first, just wondering if anyone else has done this, if maybe I should wait (it’s not been a week yet) and if this was helpful for anyone? There’s just been so many things happening that I want to make sense of, and I feel like it could be helpful. I wanted to get a reading done a few months back but my mom had told me how when her mom went 40 years ago, they had told her her husband didn’t have much time left, and he died within a few months after that. I’m really glad now that I didn’t go before, but I think going to see a medium now might help and give me some clarity, but also worried that it could have the opposite effect, or if they tell me something I don’t want to hear. I’m not a very religious person but I’m very spiritual and hoping I could possibly find comfort in that.

It's my opinion that many "mediums" are simply people who prey on vulnerable people as they are easy marks to get money from. There may be some that are not, but I have never know one. I know the desire to connect with your love is strong. Good luck to you if you try. Gail

Yeah I completely agree, my aunt was very in touch with stuff like that, she never did it for work or anything but she would tell us that people would visit her. She passed last year, but I was very similar to her and always have felt a strong connection to things like that. But I believe some people just do it to make money off of vulnerable people, and I wasn’t really thinking about that so I need to keep that in mind. But after seeing it with my aunt firsthand I think it would be helpful, as long as I go to the right person who is righteous. Thank you for reminding me about that, my brain is so scrambled I wasnt really thinking that there are still not so great people out here.

I'm sorry but I'd bet a month's pay 90%ish of the medium out there (at least) are utter frauds and if you go that's probably what you'll find and they will simply tell you what they think you want to hear. The idea of connecting to our lost ones from the great beyond is powerful and they know it. But if you go, I hope I'm wrong and you can make a connection...I would just go in eyes wide open
