Members Jvarley326
I’m 38 years old. I lost my mom suddenly in December from a massive heart attack. She was 55. Lost my father in may of long term use of alcohol and substance abuse. He was 60. It’s all starting to hit me now and I’m having trouble coping. Members Annbeth
I’m so sorry! I can’t imagine your pain. I’m not very good with words, but I want you to know, you can do this. Take time grieving and feel all of your feelings. I went to a group grieving counselor after my Mom, I didn’t think it would help. However, it really did. Listening to other people’s tragedies and loss really put things into perspective for me. It helped know other people are going through similar loss, hurt, pain, anger at the same time as me. I went through hospice, they really helped me. I still think about Mom everyday day...many times a day. It’s been eleven years, she was my best friend and I feel her guidance when I’m struggling. I believe she’s right here when I need her. I hope in someway this comforts you. Much Love and Hugs, Beth
Members var
sorry to hear of this tragic loss of both parents in the past few months my mom died 5 months ago suddenly, shockingly and sadly. I cry less but I cry every day life can be cruel you can remember all the good stuff and count your blessings , it helps me a little bit try not to beat yourself up for things...immediately stop that thought and think of something else. don't let your mind go down that dark path. just say STOP IT and force your mind to think of something else staying busy helps too and dont hold back the tears, they help
