Grief following loss of a foster child / disrupted adoption

If anybody else is in this situation and would like to talk about it, please reach out. Our adoption of our 17-month-old foster daughter, whom we have parented and loved since birth, fell through very late in the process. She was placed with another family who had already adopted two of her older half siblings, and they won't let us maintain contact because they are fundamentalist Christians and we are a queer family. I miss her desperately, and I don't know how to be okay again. Peace to all.
