I don't know how you manage it. I come to this site every morning to help me get myself together to face the day. Some days you are the only one posting for a while and I really appreciate that you are there. I need it. When I joined, I was kind of lost and hopeless. Even though I had and still somehow have a small loving, loyal circle of friends and family, they couldn’t fully “get it.” They knew that and I said I didn’t want them to experience this for a very, very long time. And so I joined and posted my angry questions about how to respond to people not in my circle who tried comparing my loss to some other type (pet, parent, friends—all painful and all ones I have been through). I wondered if anyone would respond and was so comforted when Kay and others did. But it was Kay specifically who welcomed me without judgment, but with care and kind advice.
