Members Jeff In Denver
I would have laughed at this subject a few years ago. But when I lost the love of my life to breast cancer in June of 2016, I realized that there must be more to this, so I really dug in. The concept that this could very well be a temporary separation for us is what keeps me going. They say that people who see death as final tend to do a lot worse with grief than those who believe that consciousness survives physical death. That makes sense. I strongly recommend the Swedenborg Foundation's excellent videos. Here is one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7Nyz6EvR18 Afterlifeforums.com is a terrific site for the discussion of this subject. I was introduced to the non-profit Forever Family Foundation, who, in turn, recommended the "Love Knows No Death" workbook which was produced by Dr. Piero Parisetti. They also have online radio shows every Thursday night with mediums, doctors, and psychologists. It's $10 on their site, and truly wonderful. An introduction is below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Xlza3iMqr0&t=12s Please send me a message if you have any thoughts or questions on this.
